TOEIC700点を目指しているのに伸びない人は、難しい問題ではなく基本文法のミスで失点していることが多いです。
この記事では、TOEICで特によく間違える文法を「例文＋解説」でまとめました。

① 受動態

(誤) The report completed yesterday.
(正) The report was completed yesterday.

report（レポート）は自分で完了できません。「誰かによって完了された」が自然です。
～される＝受動態（was + 過去分詞）

② 品詞（形容詞 vs 副詞）

(誤) He speaks English fluent.
(正) He speaks English fluently.

動詞を修飾するのは副詞です。
☞fluent（形容詞）ではなく fluently（副詞）を使う

③ 時制（現在完了 vs 過去）

(誤) I have visited Tokyo last year.
(正) I visited Tokyo last year.

「last year」は過去の一点なので、 現在完了は使えない。 過去形を使いましょう。
☞TOEICの文法問題では頻出です。

④ 前置詞 vs 接続詞

(誤) Although of the rain, the event was canceled.
(正) Because of the rain, the event was canceled.

・although → 文（主語＋動詞）が必要
・because of → 名詞が続く
☞ rain（名詞）なので because of

⑤ 動名詞（-ing）

(誤) I enjoy to read books.
(正) I enjoy reading books.

enjoy は -ingしか取らない動詞。TOEICでは暗記必須です。

⑥ 主語と動詞の一致

(誤) The number of employees are increasing.
(正) The number of employees is increasing.

the number of 「数」→ 単数扱い

⑦ suggestの使い方

(誤) She suggested to go there early.
(正) She suggested going there early.

suggest は動名詞（-ing）

⑧ 比較級

(誤) This product is more better than that one.
(正) This product is better than that one.

比較級はどちらか1つ

・better
・more + 形容詞

⑨ 単数・複数

(誤) The documents was submitted.
(正) The documents were submitted.

documents は複数なので wereが続く。よく見る引っかけ問題です。

⑩ 語法（コロケーション）

(誤) He is responsible of this project.
(正) He is responsible for this project.

responsible は for とセット。TOEICは「単語＋前置詞」が超重要！

TOEIC700点で必要なのは、難しい文法ではなく基本文法の正確さです。
特に重要な 品詞/時制/語法 を固めるだけで、スコアはかなり伸びます。
